H. Taylor Buckner
Taylor graduated from Auburn University in 2005 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance. He then attended Cumberland School of Law. Following graduation from Cumberland in 2009, Taylor attended the University of Denver where he attained his LL.M. (Masters of Laws) in Taxation in 2010 and returned home to pass the Alabama Bar. Taylor practiced law in Sylacauga and Birmingham before joining the law firm in the fall of 2012. He specializes in the practice areas of commercial and residential real estate, wills/trusts/estate planning, and corporate law, utilizing his tax degree in these areas. Taylor also is certified as a Guardian Ad Litem.
Taylor was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 23, 1983 and raised in Sylacauga, Lineville, Talladega, and Anniston, Alabama. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends on Lake Martin during the spring and summer, and tailgating for Auburn football games in the fall.
Taylor remains active in the community by volunteering his legal services for Habitat for Humanity and several other non-profit organizations. He has also volunteered and worked with the Alabama Sentencing Commission to evaluate, analyze, and draft proposed amendments to Alabama’s Criminal Code.
